We had a wonderful one night stay in a Zen garden suite, which had a private entrance from a walkway near the main house. The bed was so comfy and faced the fireplace and TV. We loved the luxurious bathroom and having our own small zen garden! The setting is beautifully landscaped and very serene. Breakfast was served buffet style in the main house dining area. Not lavish, but plentry of tasty offerings and good coffee.

GH is a wonderful place to detox and relax, and Glen Ellen is a picturesque and quiet place to recharge. The staff were very friendly and touches like the wine hour were nice. The pool is really nice and open late, the vibe is very easygoing and the suite we stayed in was nicely appointed. The breakfast is modest in scale but of a high standard. The sun terrace is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a wine or breakfast (or both). The bed was.very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and spacious. The staff are friendly and attentive. Parking is really close to the rooms but not intrusive on your stay. It's a short trip in a car to Sonoma town.

Very beautiful house. The additional Zen rooms were lovely. The finish and attention to detail was amazing. Extra complementary items were very appreciated.

A very unique experience. We got a suite that was in Japanese style, which we didn’t expect but absolutely loved it.

Great breakfast and social hour. Pool and jacuzzi were well managed for comfort. Outdoor areas for eating and socializing were spacious and very comfortable. Grounds keeping was excellent. Rooms were up to date, quiet and well appointed. Staff was friendly and professional.

Utterly peaceful, elegant, unpretentious. The sense of relaxation comes over you the minute you enter. It made us want to visit Japan. The staff was lovely and welcoming. The amenities were thoughtful and the breakfast was different and delicious each day. We will go back.

The atmosphere of the hotel is very quiet and relax. We came to the hotel close to 5:00 PM and they had a welcome reception with wines and charcuterie very nice. Then we met other guests and share experiences about wine tasting and restaurants recommendations. We are from Puerto Rico, and we recommend this hotel.

This is an amazing property. The house itself has such a cool history and it has been meticulously restored. It is well thought out and the amenities are top notch.
